Payment Method
Payment Methods Overview
Printify offers several payment methods for managing order fulfillment costs:
Credit/Debit Card
- Users can link a credit or debit card to their Printify account. This card will be charged for the production and shipping costs of orders.
Printify Balance
- A Printify balance can be maintained, which allows users to pay for orders directly from their account balance. Funds can be added using PayPal or, more recently, Payoneer.
PayPal
- The default method for topping up the Printify balance is through PayPal, allowing users to use various payment methods linked to their PayPal account.
Payoneer
- Recently introduced as a payment option, Payoneer allows users to add funds to their Printify balance. This method supports multiple currencies and offers low fees.
Currency Considerations
- Payments are typically processed in USD, but users can change their billing currency. However, switching currencies may affect the ability to use the Printify balance for payments.
Transaction Process
- When an order is placed, the total cost (including production and shipping) is deducted from either the linked card or the Printify balance. This ensures that funds are available for order fulfillment without direct withdrawal from sales channels.

About Printify.com Payment Method?
Printify.com offers several payment methods. Users need to link a credit/debit card to their account for automatic payment of incoming orders. Alternatively, funds can be added to the Printify account balance using PayPal or Payoneer. However, it's important to note that Printify can't withdraw funds directly from the sales channel. When an order comes in to Printify from the sales channel, Printify will automatically charge the linked credit card or Printify balance for the production price of the product and the shipping charges. The difference between the two transactions will be the user's profit. Users with a PayPal account can receive payouts directly using this platform. This is a very fast and reliable option for receiving payments from Printify. Users also have the payment option of receiving payouts through bank transfer. However, currently, it's not possible to connect a PayPal account for automatic payments. Withdrawal of Payoneer top-ups is also not possible. Users need to set up payments by choosing their preferred payment method from the available options, such as PayPal, Payoneer, or bank transfer, and follow the specific instructions for the selected payment method to complete the setup process.
Printify.com Return Policy?
Printify is a print-on-demand company, which means that all products are unique and produced only once ordered. This also means that returns and exchanges are not supported if your customer ordered the wrong size, color, or simply changed their mind. However, in case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, Printify offers a free replacement or a refund if you contact them within 30 days of product delivery. Refunds are issued to your Printify account balance. You can withdraw this amount to transfer it back to the original payment method. If there’s an issue affecting multiple products that use the same design, an additional photo (or video) of all affected items visible in one frame will be required for confirmation purposes. In case of an unsuccessful delivery, you can opt for either a replacement with an extra charge or a partial refund. For DTG products, there is a tolerance of 0.5" for print placement, meaning that minor variations in the placement of the print will not be considered as defects.
As for the shipping policy, Printify offers Economy Shipping and Express Delivery options. The Express Delivery option automatically assigns the order to the fastest delivery option for only $3.24 more compared to standard shipping. Shipping costs for additional items will remain under $2.40 on top of the standard shipping price. No need to set up shipping if you’re using Etsy or eBay, as the Printify shipping rates will be automatically applied to any published products. When it comes to taxes – depending on where your customers are located, sales tax and/or VAT regulations should also be considered.

How does Printify compare to other similar platforms?
Printify is a print-on-demand platform that enables access to a network of Print Providers across the world. Unlike other similar POD services, Printify doesn't do any of the printing (fulfillment). Instead, it acts as an intermediary and offers the technological solution that allows linking your store to a vast network of Print Providers. The key differences between Printify and other POD services are: Printify doesn’t print any of the products itself, due to having a global Print Provider network, Printify’s product selection is much greater than that of competing POD services, Printify offers very competitive product pricing, and Printify offers a set of tools, including Order Routing and Unavailable Variant Replacement Tool, specifically designed for your business to quickly adapt to uncertain situations.
When compared to Printful, another popular POD service, there are some notable differences. Printify works with several printing companies, allowing you to choose from various pricing, design, and shipping options. Printful provides uniform printing services, which could lead to better standardization. The product range of Printify is significantly larger with 950-plus products compared to Printful's 341. Both platforms offer customization and product mockups. However, Printify offers more e-commerce services (10) compared to Printful (22). The order fulfillment time for both platforms ranges from two to seven business days. Printify offers customer support via email, live chat, knowledge base, free courses, and webinars, but only in English. Printful offers similar support but in seven languages.
In conclusion, the choice between Printify and other platforms depends on the specific needs and preferences of your business. It's important to consider factors such as product range, customization options, pricing, and customer support when making a decision.
